Quick Quotes

Q. What was it like playing with your fellow Kiwi, Ryan this morning? What did it mean to have him follow you out this afternoon?

COOPER MOORE: Yeah, this morning's match was good. We've had good battles over the time, and yeah, was nice knocking a teammate and good mate out of the competition, but one of us had to go, so I was happy.

Q. That was kind of a wild match. He made more bogeys than he did pars and he had nine birdies.

COOPER MOORE: Yeah.

Q. You ever been in a match where it's been that kind of crazy...

COOPER MOORE: Yeah. There has been times, but I just stuck to my game the whole time and just trusted it all the way through. I gave it a good drop the last, and so, yeah, I'm happy with the result and I'm very proud of myself this week.

Q. What did you find out about yourself this week that maybe you didn't know?

COOPER MOORE: Probably just when I've come over this side before I've struggled with my game and never really competed, so to compete over here is cool.

Yeah, it's quite nice.

Q. You made a nice comeback today. I think he was up two or three.

COOPER MOORE: Yeah, he was up three. Just, like I said, before stuck to my game and keep playing. Birdied 15 and 17 and I hit average tee shot the last and good approach shot.

Q. The par save on nine, you think that was a huge putt to keep things going?

COOPER MOORE: Yeah, yeah. That was like my first putt I holed of the afternoon and that sort of got the momentum sort of with the putter going and, yeah, sort of got me back into the match, so I was pretty happy with that.

Q. What's next for you? I guess you're going finish high school, correct, in December?

COOPER MOORE: Yeah, yeah, so I finish high school in December, and I got a (indiscernible) in China for the New Zealand men's team. Starts in September, and then I'll come back over for the Junior Presidents Cup.

Q. You're on the team?

COOPER MOORE: Yeah, so, yeah, looking forward to that and having to go against the Americans.

Q. Might see some of these guys.

COOPER MOORE: Yeah, yeah, I probably will.

Q. Where is that going to be?

COOPER MOORE: That's in Medina, in Chicago.

Q. They're not playing the junior Presidents Cup there.

COOPER MOORE: They're playing on courses...

Q. (Indiscernible.)

COOPER MOORE: Yeah, yeah, so we'll be right on top.

Q. That's this September?

COOPER MOORE: Yes.

Q. And then I guess you'll try Q-School at some point.

COOPER MOORE: Yeah, so I looked at Q School I think each year, but to finish this year I'll have Asia-Pacific and, yeah, try to get a few professional starts as an amateur on the tour Australasia.
