Q. Obviously highlight of the day, 17, hole-in-one. Walk me through it, the club selection, the pin location. How did it feel?
SIMON GRIFFITHS: I wasn't feeling very good. I bogeyed the last three holes, and I was feeling light headed, wasn't feeling particularly well.
It was a good number for my gap wedge. I was trying to literally make contact with the ball. When I hit it, I thought, well, that looks good. That's on the green. To go in was just a bonus.
Q. That's right. And then like you said the three bogeys followed by the hole-in-one and your birdie on 18. Great finishing round after bogeys earlier in the day, up-and-downs. How did it feel?
SIMON GRIFFITHS: I played okay. I made a couple of mental errors. Overall I played all right. It just got really hot out there at times waiting a bit. There's not a lot of shade on this golf course. I found that quite difficult, to be honest. It's not really like me. I normally like the heat.
Q. Other than that, how did the course play? How were the greens for you?
SIMON GRIFFITHS: The course is absolutely fantastic. The greens are immaculate, the fairways are immaculate. If you can drive it in play, you can give yourself some chances out here. Yeah, it's a very fair setup.
Q. Tomorrow when you're starting on hole 10, you'll see those three holes again. Are you going to play them any differently?
SIMON GRIFFITHS: Possibly. You always learn when you play these courses. Maybe a little bit better strategy on a few of them. You've still got to execute good shots.
I'm looking forward to getting out there tomorrow even though it's going to be hot.
