Quick Quotes

Q. How was the weather today and how did it impact your round?

HINAKO SHIBUNO: So the weather here is very different from the weather forecast. It is a very special, Erin Hills. I felt that maybe this was similar to Scotland, and though it didn't blow wind as much as I thought. So in that sense I was lucky I think.

Q. And then does your game plan change any for tomorrow from today?

HINAKO SHIBUNO: No, I will not change, but I will try hard so that I do not have to do three-putts.

Q. Last one: How is it being at the U.S. Open here in Wisconsin with the USGA?

HINAKO SHIBUNO: So, yes, last year I was able to play as a top-10 player. I consider myself very lucky, and, again, I'm able to play here. I consider myself very lucky. There is not much chance to come to Wisconsin if not like this, and this is such a wonderful course and each year that -- when I get to play a U.S. Open I consider myself very lucky. They just really a pleasure and also a little bit scary.
