LILIA VU: Yesterday I lost the putting aspect of it but I was happy to walk away on 17 with a birdie putt.
Q. I saw you snap a photo on top of the bridge today. What were you taking a photo of?
LILIA VU: Just the crowds. It's crazy out here. It's so awesome for Celine. Just the passion and energy just on the first hole is crazy.
Q. The bridge itself, can you remember a time when you've had to walk over a bridge like that, almost above it, on your way to the first tee?
LILIA VU: Yeah, The Open. So yeah, The Open I remember there's a huge bridge on top of like a highway.
Q. Isn't it funny how that elevates things? That's a dumb pun, not intended.
LILIA VU: The perspective.
Q. The fact that you have to get from one place to another almost is like, gosh, this is a bigger event. There are going to be people in my way.
LILIA VU: Exactly, I think it shows how big the event is and how the Olympics is the best athletes from each country come here to compete.
Q. You've spoken about just your own personal emotions and representing Team USA. How has that played out on the course versus your average tournament the last couple days for you?
LILIA VU: I think I try a little harder. I'm trying not to be quick to get agitated with the shots that I know I can pull off but don't. I just made too many errors today but I know my game is in a good spot and it can only get better.
Q. How do you feel about your chances the next couple days? What needs to happen to get yourself to where you want to be?
LILIA VU: I need to put myself in better positions for birdie. You can't be 40 feet away or chipping on every hole because a lot of people are making birdies out here.
