Q. Being aggressive, was that the mentality today or was it hard to get really set in that direction?
NELLY KORDA: I mean, I was aggressive when I could, and I played safe when I had to. I mean, I played pretty solid until the last couple holes. Again I feel like that was the story of my week. Other than that I played some solid golf.
Q. What happened on your approach on 15?
NELLY KORDA: I just shanked it. I just hit it fat and hit it short and into the water.
Q. Obviously not able to salvage much better --
NELLY KORDA: I think recently what's been happening to me is I make a mistake and then I make another mistake on top of it.
Needing to control that bit of it where I don't compile all the mistakes, which that's what I've been kind of doing recently.
Q. It took the wind out of I didn't remember sails, still three holes to go, you possibly still had a chance to get back, maybe into medals, but took the wind out of the sails?
NELLY KORDA: Probably, yeah, a little bit. I'm never going to stop trying and I'm always going to try my hardest and I'm never going to back down.
But obviously it's a little discouraging when you do that.
Q. Not the result you wanted but how do you sum up the whole experience this week?
NELLY KORDA: Yeah, it's been great. I mean, the crowds have been amazing and at the end of the day, I played some really solid golf for three years from Tokyo to get me back on to this team and to represent the United States, and to be at the Olympics again. I'm a two-time Olympian and I have a Gold Medal and I'm proud of that.
